Claims and Recovery Services Ltd. was established in Moscow in 1994 as the Representative Office of Claims and Recovery Services Ltd.,
UK being the daughter Company of the insurance and reinsurance broker Willis Group.
On 01st June 1994 CRS Ltd., Moscow was appointed as the Lloyd's Agent in Moscow. The appointment was terminated in February 2022.
In 2000 CRS Ltd., Moscow was re-registered in Moscow as the Russian legal entity in the form of the limited liability company.
In 2010 the National Association of Insurance Adjusters (NAIA) has been established in the Russian Federation and CRS Ltd.,
Moscow was a co-founder of the association.

Graduated in 1984 from Moscow State University of International Relations, Degree in International Economics.
Having graduated from the University Alex joined Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in Moscow and worked there until 1992 in the Average Agency, Lloyd's Agency and Recovery Department.
In 1992 Alex has completed his post-graduate studies with Scientific and Research Financial Institute, Ministry of Finance of RF.
In 1992 was elected as Lloyd's of London Fellow to research the liberalization and expansion of the insurance markets within the Commonwealth of Independent States (former USSR) for a year and a half under an endowment by Lloyd's of London Tercentenary Foundation. After the completion of the Fellowship the scientific research "Liberalization and Expansion of the Insurance Markets within CIS" was published. The research was carried out within the Centre for Insurance and Investment Studies of London City University, London, UK.
Having completed the research study in London Alex returned back to Moscow and joined CRS Ltd., Moscow in 1994 in the capacity of senior surveyor, in 1997 he was appointed as the Chief Representative of CRS Ltd., Moscow.
On 18th October 2001 was elected as an Academician of the International Academy of Real Economy.
In 2002 received a Certificate of Cargo Surveying Proficiency being awarded with this qualification by Lloyd's.
In 2010 was appointed as the Chairman of the International Committee of NAIA.
Alex has acted as expert witness in several arbitrations in London and in Russia and has frequently given expert opinion. He acts as a consultant to many entities within the insurance and reinsurance industry. He delivered a lot of topics at various international insurance and reinsurance conferences (including Lloyd's).
For many years Alex was in charge of courses on insurance matters at the Insurance Business School within the Moscow University for Foreign relations.
